The 19^th Asian Women’s Handball Championship took place in Incheon and Seoul in the Republic of Korea from 24^th November to 4^th December 2022. It was the third time that the competition was hosted by the Korea Handball Federation (KHF). The competition also served as a qualification tournament for the World Championship, with the top 5 teams from the competition qualifying for the 26^th IHF Women’s Handball World Championship to be held in Denmark/Norway/Sweden from 30^th November to 17^th December 2023.
