The 18th Asian Women’s Junior Handball Championship was held from 20 – 29 August 2025 at the Alpomish Ice Palace in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. It was the first time that the competition was hosted by the Handball Federation of Uzbekistan (HFU).

Additionally, the competition also served as a qualification tournament for the World Championship, with the top four (4) teams from the competition qualifying for the 25th IHF Women’s Junior (U20) Handball World Championship to be held from 24 June to 5 July 2026.

The draw took place on Tuesday, 8th April 2025, from 15:00 hrs. onwards at The Republican Training Center for Olympic and Paralympic Sports in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The following were present during the draw ceremony in addition to the representatives of the participating teams:
