The 1st Asian Men’s U-17 Handball Championship was held in Amman, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, from 15 to 25 September 2025. It was hosted by the Jordan Handball Federation (JHF).

This championship marked the inaugural continental competition for the U-17 men’s category in Asia. It also served as a qualification tournament for the 1st IHF Men’s U-17 Handball World Championship, held in Casablanca, Kingdom of Morocco, from 24 October to 1 November 2025. The top three (3) teams from the Asian Championship qualified for the World Championship.

The championship was previously scheduled to be held from 1 to 11 July 2025, but was postponed due to the conflict between Islamic Republic of Iran and Israel, and Jordan’s geographical and strategic proximity to the affected area.
