The 17^th Asian Women’s Junior (U20) Handball Championship was held at the Kowloon Park Sports Centre, Tsim Sha Tsui, in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, from June 30 – July 9, 2023. Players born in 2004 and later were eligible to compete in this competition, which was hosted for the second time by the Handball Association of Hong Kong, China.

The competition also served as a qualification event for the World Championship, with the top 5 teams qualifying for the 24th IHF Women’s Junior (U20) Handball World Championship to be held in North Macedonia from June 19 – 30, 2024.
