The 10th Asian Women’s Beach Handball Championship took place at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, from 8th to 15th May 2025. It was the second time that the competition was hosted by the Oman Handball Association (OHA).

Additionally, the competition also served as a qualification tournament for the Beach Handball World Championship, with the top two teams from the competition qualifying for the 12th IHF Women’s Beach Handball World Championship to be held in 2026.

Historically, Thailand has been a dominant force, winning three consecutive gold medals in 2013, 2015, and 2017, along with a silver in 2022. Other past champions include Vietnam (2022, 2023), P. R. China (2019), and Japan (2004).

The draw took place on Monday, 24th February 2025, from 12:00 hours onwards at the Oman Handball Association (OHA) Headquarters in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. The following were present during the draw ceremony in addition to the representatives of the participating teams:
