The Asian Handball Federation (AHF) Executive Committee has decided that the 10th AHF Asian Men’s Youth (U19) Handball Championship, originally scheduled to be held from 3 to 14 September 2024 in Shiraz, Islamic Republic of Iran, will now take place in Amman, Jordan.
This decision to transfer the hosting rights of the championship to the Jordan Handball Federation (JHF) has been made after a thorough review of the current situation and safety concerns in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The AHF Executive Committee prioritized the safety and well-being of all participants, including players, officials, and fans, in making this decision.
The JHF has graciously accepted the responsibility of hosting the championship on short notice and is committed to ensuring the successful execution of the event.
