The Asian Handball Federation (AHF) is the governing body for handball, beach handball, and wheelchair handball in Asia. As one of the International Handball Federation’s six continental confederations, the AHF was officially formed on August 26, 1974, in Tehran, Imperial State of Iran, on the sidelines of the 7th Asian Games.

It is currently led by Acting President Yoshihide Watanabe (Japan) since November 5, 2021, following the self-suspension of President His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Al-Fahad Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah (Kuwait), a member of the House of Al-Sabah, the ruling royal family of Kuwait.
