The 10th IHF Men’s Beach Handball World Championship concluded in Greece today with Croatia claiming the title by defeating the Denmark in the final by 2–0. The event took place at the Karteros Beach Sports Center, Heraklion, Greece, from 21st to 26th June 2022.
The Islamic Republic of Iran and Qatar are the two Asian countries that have qualified for the event. I. R. Iran was drawn in Group C along with Denmark, Norway, and Egypt, whereas Qatar was drawn in Group D along with Brazil, Portugal, and New Zealand.

Both I. R. Iran and Qatar advanced to the main round and were seeded in Group II along with Brazil, Denmark, Norway, and Portugal.

Qatar finished 2nd in the main group and advanced to the quarter-finals, where they lost to hosts Greece by 2–1.
Qatar finished in 5th position at the event, whereas I.R. Iran finished in 9th position out of a total of 16 participating teams.
