The 9^th Asian Men’s Beach Handball Championship will take place at Nusa Dua Beach, South Kuta, Bali, Indonesia, from 10^th to 19^th March 2023. It will be the first time that the competition will be hosted by the Indonesia Handball Association (ABTI). The competition will also serve as a qualification tournament for the Beach Handball World Championship, with the top two teams from the competition qualifying for the 11^th IHF Men’s Beach Handball World Championship, which will take place in June or July 2024. The winner of the competition will also qualify for the beach handball competition of the 2^nd ANOC World Beach Games, which will be held in Bali, Indonesia, from 5^th to 12^th August 2023.
