The 16th IHF Men’s Super Globe concluded today in Saudi Arabia, with SC Magdeburg (Germany) claiming the title by defeating FC Barcelona Handbol (Spain) by 41–39 in the final. The competition took place at Dammam Sports Hall in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, from 18 to 23 October 2022.
12 clubs from around the world competed for the title at the competition, of which 3 were from Asia, i.e., Al-Kuwait Club (Kuwait), Mudhar Club (Saudi Arabia) and Khaleej Club (Saudi Arabia).
The participating clubs were divided into 4 preliminary groups with 3 clubs each, from which 1 club from each group advanced to the semi-final. Al-Kuwait Club (Kuwait), Handebol Taubaté (Brazil), and Łomża Industria Kielce (Poland) were drawn into Group C. Mudhar Club (Saudi Arabia) was drawn in Group B along with Al-Ahly SC (Egypt) and SL Benfica (Portugal), whereas Khaleej Club (Saudi Arabia) was drawn in Group A along with SC Magdeburg (Germany) and Sydney University (Australia).

The Khaleej Club (Saudi Arabia) finished in 6th position at the competition, whereas the Al-Kuwait Club (Kuwait) and Mudhar Club (Saudi Arabia) finished in 9th and 10th positions, respectively, out of a total of 12 participating clubs.
