AHF mourns the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

It is with great sadness that the Asian Handball Federation (AHF) learned of the death of the Queen of United Kingdom, Her Majesty Elizabeth II, who passed away today on Thursday, 8 September 2022, at the age of 96 years.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was the longest-serving monarch in British history and her death, at the age of 96 following a 70-year reign, left the sports community mourning the loss of a lifelong supporter.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was the Queen of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms from 6 February 1952, until her death.
On behalf of the Asian Handball Federation (AHF), President His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Al-Fahad Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah would like to express his deepest condolences to the British Royal Family and friends at this difficult time.
