AHF mourns the death of the President of the United Arab Emirates

It is the sad task of the Asian Handball Federation (AHF) to report the death of the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, who passed away today on Friday, 13 May 2022, at the age of 73 years.
Sheikh Khalifa was the President of the United Arab Emirates from 3 November 2003, until his death. He was also Ruler of Abu Dhabi, one of seven emirates that constitute the UAE, from 2 November 2004 till his death.
On behalf of the Asian Handball Federation (AHF), President His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Al-Fahad Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah would like to express his deepest condolences to his family and friends in this difficult time.
