
During the 39th Ordinary Congress of the International Handball Federation (IHF), conducted via video conferencing on Thursday, November 2, 2023, Acting President and 1st Vice-President of the Asian Handball Federation (AHF), Yoshihide Watanabe (Japan), was officially confirmed as the IHF Vice President (Asia).
Furthermore, during the same Congress, AHF Treasurer Bader Mohammed Al-Theyab (Kuwait) was confirmed as an IHF Council member, representing the Asian continent.
Both Watanabe and Al-Theyab will hold their positions until the 40th IHF Ordinary Congress, scheduled for 2025 in Egypt, when the next IHF elections will take place.
