The Asian Handball Federation’s Executive Committee has recently made two momentous decisions: Bahrain and Kuwait as the hosts for the 21st Asian Men’s Handball Championship and the 26th Asian Men’s Club League Handball Championship, respectively. These prestigious tournaments are set to showcase the finest talent in Asian handball and promise to be thrilling spectacles for fans across the region.

The 21st Asian Men’s Handball Championship, one of the most anticipated events in the handball calendar, will be held in Bahrain from January 14 – 25, 2024. The championship will see national teams from across the continent compete in fierce battles for the coveted title. With a rich history of handball and a passion for sports, Bahrain is more than ready to welcome athletes, officials, and fans to an unforgettable championship.

Prior to the grand Asian Men’s Handball Championship, the 26th Asian Men’s Club League Handball Championship is scheduled to take place in Kuwait from November 17 – 27, 2023. This competition will gather top clubs from different Asian countries, vying for supremacy and demonstrating their prowess in the sport. Kuwait’s well-established sports infrastructure and the nation’s commitment to hosting international events make it an ideal destination for the tournament.

The awarding of hosting rights to Bahrain and Kuwait reflects the AHF’s trust in their capabilities to organise world-class events while providing a fantastic experience for all participants. Both countries have expressed their enthusiasm and dedication to making these championships a resounding success and are eagerly preparing to welcome the handball fraternity with warm hospitality.
