Bahrain to host 17th Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship

The 17th Asian Men’s Junior Handball Championship has been awarded to the Bahrain Handball Federation. The championship is scheduled to be held from 13 to 22 August 2022 in Bahrain, with the players born in the year 2002 and after eligible to participate.
The top four (4) teams from the championship will directly qualify for the 24th IHF Men’s Junior World Handball Championship, to be held in Germany / Greece from 20 June to 2 July 2023.
Republic of Korea are the defending champions, while Kuwait and Qatar both won the championship five (5) times in history.
