Change in venue for the 2022 Asian Beach Handball Championships

The Asian Handball Federation (AHF) has decided to change the host city for the 8th Asian Men’s Beach Handball Championship and the 2nd Asian Men’s Youth (U-19) Beach Handball Championship.
Due to the non-availability of hotels during this period, and in-adequate flight frequency, the host city for the aforementioned championships has been changed from Kish Island to Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran.
Both the championships will be held from 22 to 28 March 2022 and also serve as a qualification event for the IHF Beach Handball World Championships to be held in June 2022 in Heraklion, Greece.
Participating countries in 8th Asian Men’s Beach Handball Championship:
Islamic Republic of Iran, Qatar, Oman, Vietnam, Philippines, India.
Participating countries in 2nd Asian Men’s Youth (U-19) Beach Handball Championship:
Islamic Republic of Iran, Pakistan, Qatar, Jordan, India, Afghanistan.
