The Asian Handball Federation (AHF) has announced the date and venue for the draw of the 10th Asian Women’s Youth (U18) Handball Championship.
The draw ceremony will take place at the Asian Handball Federation Headquarter, South Surrah, Kuwait on Monday, February 20, 2023, at 12:30 hrs. (local time). AHF Treasurer Bader Mohammed Al-Theyab (Kuwait), AHF Executive Director Dr. Ahmad Abu Al-Lail (Kuwait), and the representatives of the participating teams will be attending the draw ceremony.
Participating teams:
Pot 1: India, I.R. Iran
Pot 2: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan
Pot 3: Republic of Korea, P.R. China, Japan, Hong Kong (China), Chinese Taipei, Bangladesh
The 10th Asian Women’s Youth Handball Championship is scheduled to be held in New Delhi, India, from July 23 to August 1, 2023.
The top five (5) teams from the competition will qualify for the 10th IHF Women’s Youth (U18) Handball World Championship, to be held in July or August 2024.
