The draw for the Asian Men’s Handball Qualification for 2024 Olympic Games was held on May 20, 2023, at 18:30 hrs. at the Duhail Sports Hall in Doa, Qatar.
The following dignitaries were present during the draw ceremony, in addition to representatives of the participating teams:
- Bader Mohammed Al-Theyab (Kuwait), AHF Treasurer
- Dr. Ahmad Abu Al-Lail (Kuwait), AHF Executive Director
- Ahmed Mohammad Al-Shaabi, President of Qatar Handball Association
The twelve (12) teams who will compete for the title this time are divided into two groups of six teams each. As the host, Qatar has the right to choose the group in which they want to play.

Group A: Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Republic of Korea, United Arab Emirates, India, P.R. China
Group B: Bahrain, Islamic Republic of Iran, Kuwait, Uzbekistan, Japan, Kazakhstan
The Asian Men’s Handball Qualification for 2024 Olympic Games is scheduled to be held at the Duhail Sports Hall in Doha, Qatar, from October 18 – 28, 2023.
The winner of the event will qualify for the Men’s Handball Competition of the 33rd Summer Olympic Games scheduled to be held in Paris, France, from July 26 – August 11, 2024.
