Draw results of the 9th IHF Women’s Youth (U18) Handball World Championship

The draw for the 9th IHF Women’s Youth (U18) Handball World Championship was held today, on 2 June 2022, at 15:00 hrs. at the IHF Head Office in Basel, Switzerland.
This will be the first-ever edition of the competition featuring 32 teams, with 20 teams coming from Europe, 5 from Asia, 4 from Africa and 3 from South and Central America. The draw was conducted by IHF Competitions Director Patric Strub.
As the host, North Macedonia has the right to choose the group in which they want to play, and they opted to join Group B.

Group B: Islamic Republic of Iran, North Macedonia, Uzbekistan, Senegal
Group C: Denmark, Portugal, Austria, Faroe Islands
Group D: Croatia, Kazakhstan, Egypt, India
Group E: Romania, Netherlands, Guinea, Slovenia
Group F: Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia, Republic of Korea
Group G: Norway, Czech Republic, Brazil, Uruguay
Group H: Hungary, France, Argentina, Spain
The 9th IHF Women’s Youth (U18) Handball World Championship will take place from 30 July to 10 August 2022 in North Macedonia.
