Four asian referee couples got the IHF Badge during GRTP

Seoul, 4 December 2022

Four referee couples from Asia have earned the IHF Badge during the IHF Global Referee Training Programme (GRTP) Course, which ran alongside the 19th Asian Women’s Handball Championship in the Republic of Korea from 24th November to 4th December 2022.

A total of 12 referee couples from Bahrain, P. R. China, I. R. Iran, Japan, Kuwait, Oman, the Republic of Korea, and Uzbekistan participated in the course.

The course was led by Chairperson of the IHF Playing Rules and Referees Commission (PRC) Per Morten Sødal (Norway) and AHF PRC Chairman Saleh Bin Ashour (United Arab Emirates).

The following four referee pairs have successfully passed the course and were awarded the IHF Badge during the closing ceremony of the course:

I.R. Iran – Ahmad Gheisarian / Amir Gheisarian

Kuwait – Maali Nawaf Al-Enezi / Dalal Al-Naseem

Oman – Khamis Al-Wahibi / Omer Al-Shahi

Uzbekistan – Khasan Ismoilov / Khusan Ismoilov
