Jordan to host 3rd West Asian Women’s Handball Championship

The Asian Handball Federation (AHF) has awarded the hosting rights of the 3rd West Asian Women’s Handball Championship to the Jordan Handball Federation (JHF).
The championship is scheduled to be held from 01 to 09 February 2023 in Amman, Jordan.
The defending champions are the Islamic Republic of Iran. The inaugural edition of the championship was held in 2016 in Doha, Qatar, and was won by the hosts, Qatar. The 2nd edition of the championship was also held back in 2018 in Amman, Jordan and was won by I.R. Iran.
