Republic of Korea to host 19th Asian Women’s Handball Championship

The Asian Handball Federation (AHF) has awarded the hosting rights of the 19th Asian Women’s Handball Championship to the Korea Handball Federation (KHF). The championship is scheduled to be held from 20th November to 5th December 2022 in two cities in the Republic of Korea, i.e., Incheon and Seoul.
The top 5 teams from the championship will directly qualify for the 26th IHF Women’s Handball World Championship, to be held in December 2023 in Denmark / Norway.
The Republic of Korea are the defending champions and record title holder, having won the championship 15 times.
