The SK Sugar Gliders Handball Club of the Republic of Korea has won the 6th edition of the Asian Women’s Club League Handball Championship. Six clubs from five countries competed in the competition held at Dostyk Universal Sports Complex, Almaty, Kazakhstan, from June 14 – 20, 2023.
The competition saw the six clubs play each other once in the round-robin format in a single group.
SK Sugar Gliders HC (Rep. of Korea) won all five of their matches and grabbed the maximum 10 points in the competition, as well as the winner’s trophy. Kaysar Club (Kazakhstan) won silver with 8 points in the group table, losing only one match against SK Sugar Gliders HC by 31–37. T-Sports Club (India) won the bronze medal with 6 points.
