Stage set for draw of 26th Asian Men’s Club League Handball Championship

The Asian Handball Federation (AHF) is thrilled to announce the draw ceremony for the 26th Asian Men’s Club League Handball Championship, set to take place on September 17, 2023, at 19:00 hours, at the Symphony Style Hotel in Salmiya, Kuwait. The event will feature 12 clubs from nine countries.

Participating clubs include Qadsia SC (Kuwait), Al-Kuwait SC (Kuwait), Al-Arabi SC (Qatar), Shabab Haret Saida (Lebanon), Al-Salah SC (Palestine), Al-Jaish SC (Iraq), Al-Gharafa SC (Qatar), Golden Eagles (India), Sports Authority of India (India), Al-Najma Club (Bahrain), Sharjah SC (United Arab Emirates), and Khaleej Club (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).

The draw ceremony will determine the groups and initial matchups, promising thrilling competition and showcasing the rich diversity of handball talent across Asia.

The championship will be held at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah Indoor Sports Halls Complex in Sabah Al-Salem, Kuwait, from November 17 – 27, 2023.

Kuwait, as the host nation, has meticulously prepared to ensure the event’s success. The Qadsia Sports Club Hall, with its world-class facilities, will provide an ideal backdrop for players and fans to experience the excitement of handball at its best.

A highlight of this championship is the opportunity for the winner to qualify for the prestigious 18th IHF Men’s Super Globe in 2024, offering Asian clubs a chance to compete on the global stage.
