The Asian Handball Federation (AHF) is pleased to announce that the hosting rights for the 3rd Asian Men’s & Women’s Youth (U17) Beach Handball Championship have been awarded to the Handball Association of Thailand (HAT). The championship is scheduled to take place in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand, from 16 to 22 October 2024.
This event will bring together top men’s and women’s youth beach handball teams from across Asia to compete for the coveted title. The defending champions are Islamic Republic of Iran in the men’s competition and Thailand in the women’s competition.
Moreover, the championship will serve as a qualifying event for the 3rd IHF Men’s & Women’s Youth (U17) Beach Handball World Championship in Hammamet, Tunisia, scheduled for 17 to 22 June 2025.
