The Asian Handball Federation (AHF) is pleased to announce that the Handball Federation of Uzbekistan has been awarded the hosting rights for the 18th Asian Women’s Junior Handball Championship. The championship will take place from 20 to 29 August 2025 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
This edition marks a significant milestone as it will be the first time Uzbekistan hosts the competition. The championship will serve as a qualification event for the 25th IHF Women’s Junior (U20) Handball World Championship, set to be held in 2026. The top four teams from this tournament will secure their spots in the World Championship.
Players born in 2006 or later are eligible to participate in this prestigious event.
