Match schedule confirmed for 9th Asian Women's Youth Handball Championship

The match schedule for the 9th Asian Women’s Youth Handball Championship has been confirmed by the Asian Handball Federation (AHF) and the Organizing Committee. Five teams i.e. Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, India, I. R. Iran and Syria are participating in the championship that will be held at the Universal Sports Complex Dostyk, Almaty, (Kazakhstan) from 18 to 25 March 2022.

The top two (2) teams from the championship will directly qualify for the 9th IHF Women’s Youth World Handball Championship, to be held in Georgia from 3 to 14 August 2022.
The previous edition of the championship was held in India in 2019, with Republic of Korea taking its 8th straight title by defeating China in the final by 32 – 14. Japan claimed a bronze medal by defeating Kazakhstan by 41 – 21.
