24th Asian Men's Club League Handball Championship awarded to India

The 24th Asian Men’s Club League Handball Championship, originally scheduled to be held in Doha, Qatar from 18 to 27 June 2022, will now take place in Hyderabad, India from 23 June to 4 July 2022.
For some technical reasons, the Qatar Handball Association (QHA) excused from hosting the event in Doha, Qatar. Therefore, the AHF Executive Committee has decided in its meeting held via video conferencing on 26 April 2022, to award the hosting rights of the championship to the Handball Federation of India (HFI).
It will be the second time that the championship will be hosted by Hyderabad, India, following the 20th edition back in 2017.
The championship will also serve as a qualification event for the 16th IHF Men’s Super Globe to be held in Saudi Arabia from 17 to 23 October 2022.
