Dates set for draw of 19th Asian Women’s Handball Championship

The Asian Handball Federation (AHF) has announced the date and venue for the draw of the 19th Asian Women’s Handball Championship.
The draw ceremony will take place at the Grand Swiss-Belhotel, Seef, Bahrain on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11:00 hrs. The AHF Treasurer, Bader Mohammed Al-Theyab (Kuwait), will be attending the draw ceremony accompanied by the AHF Executive Director, Dr. Ahmad Abu Al-Lail (Kuwait), and the representatives of the participating teams.
The 19th Asian Women’s Handball Championship is scheduled to be held in Incheon and Seoul in the Republic of Korea from November 20 to December 1, 2022.
Participating teams:
Pot 1: Republic of Korea, Japan
Pot 2: Kazakhstan, I.R. Iran
Pot 3: Uzbekistan, Hong Kong (China)
Pot 4: P.R. China, Thailand, India, Australia
The top five (5) teams from the championship will qualify for the 26th IHF Women’s Handball World Championship to be held in Denmark / Norway / Sweden in December 2023.
