The Asian Handball Federation (AHF), in collaboration with the Local Organising Committee, is pleased to unveil the official match schedule for the highly anticipated 21st Asian Men’s Handball Championship. The championship is set to take place from January 11–25, 2024, spanning across the vibrant cities of Manama and Isa Town in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Sixteen nations will vie for the prestigious title in an intense competition that promises thrilling handball action. Notably, the top four teams emerging victorious in the championship will secure coveted berths in the 29th IHF Men’s Handball World Championship. This global showcase of handball prowess is scheduled to unfold in Croatia, Denmark, and Norway from January 14 – February 2, 2025. In an exciting development, an opportunity awaits the team from Oceania, specifically New Zealand, as they can qualify by achieving a ranking of fifth or higher in the Asian Men’s Handball Championship.
