The 11th Asian Men’s Youth Handball Championship will take place from 20 to 31 August 2026 in Amman, Jordan, marking the fifth occasion the competition will be hosted by the Jordan Handball Federation (JHF).

The championship will serve as the qualification event for the 12th IHF Men’s Youth (U19) Handball World Championship, with the top four (4) teams securing direct qualification for the global tournament scheduled to be held from 29 July to 9 August 2027.

The championship was previously scheduled to be held from 10 to 21 August 2026 in Andijan, Uzbekistan, but was relocated due to unforeseen organizational circumstances.

A draw took place on Monday, 13 July 2026 at 18:00 hrs. at the Headquarters of Jordan Handball Federation (JHF), Princess Sumaya Hall, Amman. The following were present during the draw ceremony in addition to the representatives of the participating teams:
