The Asian Handball Federation (AHF) is pleased to announce that the draw ceremony for the 1st Asian Men’s U-17 Handball Championship will take place on Wednesday, 23rd April 2025, at 18:00 hrs. (UTC+03:00) at the Headquarters of the Jordan Handball Federation, located at the Princess Sumaya Hall, Amman, Jordan.
Participating countries:
Pot 1: Jordan, Republic of Korea, Kuwait, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Pot 2: Kingdom of Bahrain, Islamic Republic of Iran, Qatar, Chinese Taipei
Pot 3: P. R. China, India
Pot 4: Uzbekistan, Hong Kong-China, Maldives
The 1st Asian Men’s U-17 Handball Championship is scheduled to be held from 1 – 11 July 2025 in Amman, Jordan. This landmark event will serve as the Asian qualification tournament for the 1st IHF Men’s U-17 Handball World Championship, which will be hosted in the Kingdom of Morocco from 24 October – 1 November 2025.
The top two teams from the Asian Championship will earn qualification to represent Asia at the inaugural IHF Men’s U-17 World Championship.
