The Asian Handball Federation (AHF) has announced the date and venue for the draw of the 17th Asian Women’s Junior (U20) Handball Championship.
The draw ceremony will take place at the Olympic House, 1 Stadium Path, So Kon Po, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (China) on Friday, February 3, 2023, at 19:30 hrs. (local time). AHF Treasurer Bader Mohammed Al-Theyab (Kuwait), AHF Assistant Technical Manager Abdullah Jasem Al-Theyab (Kuwait), and the representatives of the participating teams will be attending the draw ceremony.
Participating teams:
Pot 1: Hong Kong (China), India
Pot 2: I.R. Iran, Kazakhstan
Pot 3: Uzbekistan
Pot 4: Republic of Korea, P.R. China, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Kuwait
The 17th Asian Women’s Junior Handball Championship is scheduled to be held in Hong Kong (China), from June 30 to July 9, 2023.
The top five (5) teams from the competition will qualify for the 24th IHF Women’s Junior Handball World Championship, scheduled to be held in North Macedonia from June 19–30, 2024.
